About the role
A market leader in material handling, construction and environmental equipment, your role as a parts and service coordinator is being responsible for assisting customers in finding the appropriate parts. You'll work with customers and mechanics and sale reps to find accessories and order parts for repairs and upgrades.

  • You will be responsible for ordering of required parts and ensuring that the best delivery times are completed.
  • Accurately pull parts for work orders and inspect all parts stocked
  • Locate difficult part items observation and available resources.
  • Verify the proper identification of parts when stocking
  • Complete all required orders
  • Create inventory sheets.
  • Follow daily inventory control procedures and participate in inventory counts
  • Control quality by cleaning, identifying and inspecting component parts prior to putting them into inventory.
  • Pick up and deliver parts locally as required.
  • Be capable of performing basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties including organizing and keeping the work area clean and safe.
  • Work closely with management to learn and to develop the best practices and procedures and find ways in which to increase productivity.
  • Communicate with supervisors, warehouse department employees
  • Understand health and safety policies and procedures and applicable regulations pertaining to a maintenance environment.

We need you to show professionalism and dedication to a job well done. You will be customer focused and want to go the extra mile. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer orientated approach is essential.

  • This person must have a good eye for detail
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Comfortable to operate simple machinery
  • A forklift licence would be advantageous
  • Confident communication skills are essential  
  • The ability to work closely and efficiently with others in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Understand the importance of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill written and verbally
  • Strong computer skills are imperative
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and suppliers of agricultural equipment parts and materials
