We are looking for an enthusiastic Ranger to join our Recreation/Historic Team in the Fiordland National Park over the 2017/2018 summer season.

This is a multi functional role; ensuring one of the highest used sectors of Fiordland National Park is maintained.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • An understanding and appreciation of conservation values in New Zealand and an ability to communicate these to a wide range of people
  • That ‘willing to go the extra mile', ‘can do' attitude
  • The practical know-how to make something out of nothing
  • A good knowledge of Fiordland and the Southland/Otago region
  • A team player attitude who works well under pressure
  • A current First Aid certificate and valid Driver's License.
