Seasonal Positions in Christchurch and Ashburton
HydroServices provides soil moisture monitoring and irrigation management advice to growers throughout NZ.
We are currently looking for suitable people to join our Christchurch and Ashburton Branch. The successful applicants will be required to help install aluminium tubes into soil using a motorised auger or breaker hammer. You will also be required to monitor soil moisture using a neutron probe and provide scheduling advice to our farming clients on a regular basis. You will be assigned tasks as part of a team, with a strong support network to help. Experience with operating small motors and a farming/horticultural background is an advantage. Full training is given.
The start dates for these positions are negotiable between 3rd of September and 1st of October 2018 and finishing late March to late April 2019.
