We have two exciting opportunities for hard working Vineyard Assistants to join our committed and passionate team. These are permanent positions located in both our Greater Blenheim and Awatere Vineyards.
The Role:
In this role you will be carrying out a variety of vineyard operations as planned by the Vineyard Manager including but not limited to: pruning, irrigation repairs and maintenance, trellising maintenance, vine training and data collection. You will learn about and undertake machinery operations including but not limited to: Mowing, Trimming, and spraying. You will also play a part in our harvest operations.
About you:
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Good attention to detail in all operations to achieve optimal fruit and wine quality
- Great initiative and drive for continuous improvement in vineyard operations
- Excellent communication and a commitment to workplace safety
- Minimum class 1 drivers licence
