Tetley-Jones Agriculture Ltd is an innovative agricultural contracting company based in Otorohanga. We cover a large area through the Waikato and King Country and specialise in hay, sileage, bailing, loader wagon sileage, and hill country crop establishment.
We operate a modern well-maintained fleet and we are currently seeking two experienced Agricultural Machinery Operators for the 2018/19 season. One of these positions could have the opportunity to become a full-time position for the right candidate. The positions will cover any of the following duties:
- Mowing, Raking, Bailing, Stacking
- Loader Wagons
- Discing
- Ripping, Power Harrowing
- Direct Drilling and Roller Drilling
- Tractor and Trailer Cartage
- Truck cartage
- Occasional farm duties
- Mechanical assistance with breakdowns
To apply for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum class 2 licence
- Ability to get a class 4 and 5 licence
- Experienced Drill Operator
- Understanding of GPS autosteer
- Maintain relevant equipment
- At least 3 year’s experience in the Agricultural Industry
- A good sense of humour, a team player and self motivated
- Be flexible with seasonal workload demands
- Be honest and reliable
- Have high Health and Safety work standards
Experience in any of the following is not a must but would be a huge advantage:
- Leadership roles
This position will start in September 2018 and is a seasonal position which would finish in April/May 2019 (subject to change with the season). We can offer good remuneration, an upbeat work environment and positive team. Good onsite accommodation is available if required (will only suit a single person).
