Ryman Healthcare’s Bruce McLaren Retirement Village is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Diversional Therapist to organise and run a programme of events for our residents to enhance their emotional, social and physical wellbeing.

We have a part time role available working Saturday and Sunday from 1000 – 1600 in our hospital.

Key skills required:

• Experience working with elderly with dementia
• Diversional Therapy qualification
• Empathy with elderly and their families
• Creative, patient and enthusiastic
• Organised and efficient at managing time
• Outstanding communication skills
• An enthusiastic and friendly leader
