The opportunity
The Strategic Broker plays a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of the Empowered Communities Approach at the local level and works closely alongside Local Boards, the community and other departments of Auckland Council in their work.
About you
Experienced in working with grassroots level and in senior advisor capacity will be essential for this role. Strategic Broker needs to be driven to devliver the best service for the community, have exceptional communication skills to be able to have robust discussions with Local Board members and community stakeholders and be able to intiate and develop a programme of work for the local communities.
You will travel regularly within Auckland and hence your driving license will come handy. This role will work closely with our communities and hence deemed a safety sensitive position which means pre-employment drug testing is a must.
