The Organisation
Motor Neurone Disease Association of New Zealand aims to provide information, research updates and support to people with motor neurone disease (also known as ALS – amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and their carers.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager this role will collaborate on the development, implementation, evaluation and reporting of the MND NZ Fundraising Strategy. You will join a small team of five in a national office during an exciting period of growth, with a supportive GM and professional development available.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fundraising Strategy and Planning support to the General Manager
- Database management, analysis, reporting
- Campaigns
- Events and peer to peer fundraising
- Direct mail and regular giving programmes
- Fundraising related marketing and communications
- Relationship building, working with volunteers
- Administration and reporting
Person Specification
We are looking for a vibrant and confident intermediate level fundraiser who has had 3+ years’ working on the full fundraising mix within a small to medium sized charity. You will need experience running community and corporate events, marketing and communications expertise and excellent IT and database skills.
This role is a full time role, based in Royal Oak, Auckland, with a salary range of $70k - $80k
