At Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children we’re on a journey to ensure that all tamariki are in loving whānau and communities where oranga tamariki can be realised.
Oranga Tamariki is leading social work practice that is child-centred, trauma informed and effective for Māori as well as other cultures.
As a Supervisor Night Attendant you will have the opportunity to lead a team of night staff who will ensure the safety of tamariki and oversee the night time operations of the residence.

Role requirements
We are looking for people to have:
- An affinity for tamariki, young children and their whānau.
- Managed and led teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to identify risks and minimise them.
- Experience in development and workflow plans for staff.
- Resilience and a positive outlook.
- A full clean driver's licence.
- Great planning and time management skills.
- Confidence in presenting to others.
