Are you flexible and excited by the opportunity to work with victims of crime and trauma? Have you experience in working with individuals who have been victims of Family Violence? If so this exciting and challenging position, based in the Auckland region could be the next step in your career.
This role is a full-time, permanent position based in Ponsonby covering the Auckland district. To be successful, you will need to have
- excellent interpersonal skills
- a relevant qualification
- be able to relate to a diverse group of people
- the ability to think under pressure and prioritise effectively
- the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good computer skills
- flexibility and the ability to work within the central Auckland area
- be able to work outside normal day time hours including weekends
- a full driving license and access to own transport
- Have experience of supporting people affected by Family Harm
Victim Support is a national organisation providing information, support and advocacy services to victims of serious crime and trauma.
You will be required to undergo pre-employment vetting by the NZ Police.
