Part-time (25hrs), $20 per hour

We are looking for a Field Officer to cover the Hutt Valley & Wainauiomata area for 25 hours a week.

Desired experience:

Experience working in the community
visiting clients 1 to 1
Caring
Good listener
Good Level of IT Literacy
Good communicator
Good level of cultural awareness

The field officer role includes:

Hospital, retirement home and/or home visits.
Providing support and information to Stroke affected families/whanau and carers.
Advocacy for stroke survivors and their carers.
Networking in the community to create Links and support for the stroke survivor and family/whanau.
Talks to community groups on stroke awareness and prevention.
