We are seeking suitable candidates for  Support Workers (Full and part time roles) - Clive and Poraiti – working with adults or young people with high support needs and challenging behaviour; you will need to have a mature approach and good levels of physical fitness to work with service-users.

Shift work and weekend work is required so applicants that are not able to do this need not apply.

To apply for this role you will need a positive attitude and sense of humour! In addition you will have:

• Minimum of a level 5 NZ qualification (or equivalent) in the health/disability field; or at least three years' relevant experience if you do not have a suitable qualification.
• If you do not have the required qualification/experience but are interested in the work please apply; entry level positions are also available.
• Empathy, respect, an approach to ENABLE people to achieve their goals and plans.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work within Hohepa's values and practices (based on the work of Dr Rudolf Steiner).
• High ethical standards, able to respect confidentiality and privacy.
• Be eligible to work in NZ – if you hold a work visa it must be open with no restrictions on hours or employer.

You must be drug free, prepared not to smoke during work hours and willing to declare any convictions.
