Pact is currently looking for a full-time (80hrs per fortnight) fixed term (for 12 months), permanent flexible Support Worker – Intellectual Disability to work in our residential services in the Hutt Valley area.

Pact is looking for enthusiastic and energetic person to work alongside people with an intellectual disability who will inspire, encourage and role model, plus have excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
In this role the priority will be to ensure clients’ community participation and personal goal achievement. This will involve supporting clients with daily house tasks and assisting them with personal hygiene to help them to achieve maximum independence.
This role requires flexibility, which will involve working between Pact’s Intellectual Disability Residential Services. As we operate 24/7, hours of work will include day, evening, weekend, awake and sleepover shifts.
It is expected this role will last 12 months dependent on staff returning from leave.
- A full driver’s licence and computer skills are essential
- If on a work visa, this must be valid for at least twelve months
