We pride ourselves on working alongside our community partners to bring about positive outcomes for our children and young people. We have an opportunity for a qualified social worker to join our care services team.
Using the latest strengths based practice tools and assessment frameworks; you will work hard to get quality outcomes for Tamariki and Rangatahi. Some activities that you would be doing as a social worker with us are: being involved in assessments, training caregivers, assessing risks, creating plans, working with sites, caregivers and the wider community to help mokopuna be safe, strong and thrive. Your tenacity to overcome everyday barriers and ability to drive positive outcomes will put you in good stead for this challenging yet hugely rewarding role.

Preference is given to those who have:
- ability to quickly build rapport with Tamariki and Rangatahi
- great written and verbal communication skills (you will need to write court reports)
- resilient, motivated and driven character
- flexibility to work after hours duty roster
- good computer navigation and typing skills
- full clean valid driver's licence without conditions
You must have a Social Work Qualification that is recognised by the New Zealand Social Work Registration Board (SWRB) or have full SWRB registration and current APC.
