Community Support Worker
Casual - potential for permanent hours in the future.
We have an opportunity available for a support worker to work as part of a motivated and dedicated team providing support for our client who has a spinal injury.
We are looking for a positive, caring and reliable person who has the motivation and commitment to assist our client towards his rehabilitation goals. It is important to him to be able to travel away from home regularly and be fully supported to do so.
Who are we?
Healthcare NZ specialises in providing injury-related support, nursing and rehabilitation services throughout New Zealand. As New Zealand's largest ACC contracted supplier of home and community support services and a provider of ACC nursing services, our goal is to provide the best possible support to people that maximises their independence after an injury.

What will you be doing?
- Household management including meal preparation, shopping, cleaning
- Personal support including showering, dressing, grooming
- Accompanying our client on various outings and appointments, including overnight trips
What skills do you need?
- A current full driver's licence and reliable transport
- Flexibility with hours across the 24/7 working week
- To be very reliable and trustworthy
- To have good communication skills and fluency in English
- To be eligible to work in New Zealand
