We are looking for an experienced Learning Advisor or EAP tutor to join us on a part-time, fixed term contract till late October to design and deliver a series of workshops focusing on developing post-grad academic skills. These workshops will be delivered concurrently with students’ post-grad study. You will work closely with our Academic and Career Skills team and faculty staff to design and develop engaging, interactive and informative workshops.

You will need the following skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualification(s) in education, teaching or TESOL
  • Strong experience with English for academic purposes
  • Familiarity with teaching and learning issues in tertiary education
  • Experience in integrating technology into the teaching/learning process
  • Be a confident self starter, who is keen to own this project and operate fairly autonomously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong problem solving abilities
