We are a renowned quality education provider which aims to enable students to optimize their potential and become internationally competitive in the market place. The Civil engineering department is offering Diploma in Civil Engineering (Level 7). We are seeking an experienced lecturer capable of delivering training and assessment for civil specialization in buildings and constructions.
The successful applicant shall be with both a range of relevant industry and teaching skills that demonstrate his/her ability to successfully plan and deliver a number of subjects and can conduct labs and final year projects to students from a wide variety of different cultural backgrounds.
Experience in NZ civil industry, tertiary education sector, NZQA and IPENZ procedures will be an advantage for the successful candidate.

The position would be fit for the candidate who has proven knowledge and expertise including:
- Postgraduate studies in Civil Engineering
- Strong research background
- Tertiary teaching, assessment development and delivery in accordance with NZQA framework.
- Strong understanding of the NZQA qualification system about Civil Engineering qualifications.
- A tertiary teaching certificate (i.e. National Certificate/Diploma in Adult Education and Training).
- Strong civil engineering background and experience, including development and management of civil engineering Labs, final project supervision, course prescription and application development for civil qualifications.
- Strong administrative and computing skills.
