Would you like to work in an attractive, spacious, and growing campus on Auckland's North Shore with excellent facilities and ample parking? Massey University Library is looking for a Subject Librarian to help support the teaching, learning, and research activities of students (both on-campus and at a distance) and academic staff. This is an excellent career step for someone wanting to progress in the information profession and we offer a stimulating and supportive environment.

Responsibilities include teaching information skills both online and in face-to-face classes, supporting the research lifecycle of Massey researchers, collection development and management within a subject speciality, and contributing to the Library's online presence through creating teaching resources and digital learning objects.

• an undergraduate degree, and a professional library qualification or be working towards
  one.

Massey University is known for its distinctive mix of campus-based, distance and international teaching, ground-breaking research, and the applied nature of many of its teaching and research programmes.

This is a fixed term, full-time position for a period of up to 13 months starting from mid September, with normal hours of work 9.00am - 5.00pm, and one day a week 10.00am - 6.00pm.
