The Research Development Advisors play a key role in supporting the development and growth of research at Massey University while contributing to the development of the University's research culture. You will be working with researchers to achieve key objectives by building effective relationships with funding bodies and research partners, seeking and procuring external research and consultancy funding, and supporting research project leaders to deliver excellent research projects with high impact.
Ideally, you will hold a PhD or equivalent relevant experience. We are seeking an individual with specialist capability in one or more of the sciences (preferably natural science, engineering, technology) has an understanding of Vision Matauranga. A demonstrated ability to reflect Maori needs, aspirations and contributions as they relate to research would be an advantage. You will also have a proven record of accomplishment in preparing proposal and grant applications and facilitating research collaborations.
You will be joining an established and highly effective Research Development team who work collaboratively to advance the University's Research Strategy.
