The Opportunity
The Senior Credit Risk Modeller is responsible for working with the business in the development of key risk models across the whole credit lifecycle. Being a senior role, the ability to engage directly with the business to understand the ever-changing environment of risk appetites and will ensure that you are constantly challenged with new model development, stress testing, model validation and implementation. Working in a small team means that you are exposed to all areas of the credit lifecycle and types of models (including regulatory, provisioning and decision scorecards).
The Person
You have extensive experience working in a credit risk modelling function and have experience using SAS and SQL to extract and integrate data for both analysis and modelling. You are well versed at taking business requirements, distilling information (taking into consideration the macroeconomic factors) and develop technical solutions to suit. You can display with confidence your statistical modelling experience and can test models to ensure they are robust and meet the needs of the business to support good “risk” customer lending.
