It is an exciting time here at Whangarei District Council as our district continues to grow and we are continuously working to strengthen our strategic partnerships and enhance service provision to our community.
We have an interesting full-time opportunity and are looking for a person who:
- Has outstanding customer service and administrative skills
- Experience in maintenance and organization of library collections
- Understanding of collection assessment tools to manage, analyse, interpret and report on assessment data including usage
- Is computer savvy
- Enjoys helping others find the information they need
- Is a team player but can also work sole charge from time to time
- Has an understanding of library processes (qualifications and professional registration are an advantage)
