Do you have a passion for the childcare/recreation/education industry coupled with strong people and business management skills and experience?
Bay Venues proudly manages 24 venues spread across the Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa regions. Our venues incorporate aquatic facilities, community centres, community halls, gyms, and the iconic ASB Baypark facility. We offer a broad range of leisure and event products, services and programmes with a core focus on customer value and service.
Based from the Arataki Community Centre, the role includes the management of our popular Baykids OSCAR programme spread across six facilities, as well as overseeing the management of our early childhood centre located at the Baywave Aquatic & Leisure Centre.
We are looking for the right person to wow us with your experience in creating a fun, well planned and inspiring OSCAR Programme. You will need to have a real passion and drive to improve and develop the programme and provide strong leadership to the team in order to deliver exceptional value and service to our customers.
As well as delivering an OSCAR Programme that everyone is talking about, you will also utilise your business management and understanding of early childhood education & care to oversee our childcare facility based at the Baywave Aquatic & Leisure Centre and raise its profile.
To be in the running for this role you will need to have a full gambit of suitable skills and experience which includes working within the childcare/recreation/education sector, people management, financial management, programme development & coordination, marketing, reporting and strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
