The College of Community Development and Personal Wellbeing has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer role within the Bachelor of Social Services in the Mental Health field.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner who holds an advanced qualification in the Social Services field and considerable practice experience in the field of Mental Health. You will have a broad understanding and experiences of current theory and models in the sector(s) and demonstrate knowledge of a range of current theory, models and frameworks as well as an understanding of national and international contemporary issues in the field.
You will:
- Have a broad understanding and a range of experiences of Social Services work in a variety of fields particularly Mental Health including the ability to work with community agencies to develop placements and enterprise opportunities.
- Experience in research is essential
- Senior Lecturers are expected to have an established research portfolio.
A current driver’s license is essential and a recognised teaching qualification is preferable. To be appointed at Senior Lecturer level you will hold a Tertiary Teaching Qualification.
