About us:
Rainbow Tick is a quality improvement cycle designed to make an organization a safe, welcoming and inclusive place for people of diverse gender identity and sexual orientation. We evaluate an organizations level of LGBTTI inclusion and where there are deficiencies we make evidence-based recommendations for change. Once the benchmarks are met, the Rainbow Tick certification is awarded.
About the role:
This is your opportunity to be part of a movement creating positive change within the Rainbow community at a national level.
As part of a larger Rainbow team, your role will be to provide high quality support with the implementation and delivery of the Rainbow Tick Programme.
You will ensure that an excellent standard of service is provided to all stakeholders through the evaluation of organizations against the Rainbow Tick standard including facilitating focus groups and the delivery of training to clients. You will be skilled at identifying trends, tools and technology that support with the learning and training delivery process.
You will possess a natural ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, suitable professional groups and community partnerships. You will take every opportunity to identify and engage new clients and support the contract negotiation process.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree level qualification or equivalent prior experience in a comparable position.
- Knowledge of, and experience in assessment and focus group facilitation
- Experience in facilitating training
- An effective communicator (verbal and written)
- Strong connections and knowledge of New Zealand’s Rainbow communities
- Knowledge of work place relations and human rights
- Commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi
- Full and current New Zealand driver’s license
Ideally you will be:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Able to use strategies to engage meaningfully and in partnership with Rainbow communities
- An effective report writer and administrator
- Experienced in presentation and training
- Skilled in the management of corporate social media.
