We are looking for an energetic, driven and personable Account Manager to join our Industry Training team in Auckland.  You will be responsible for promoting, developing, managing and arranging training to an agreed set of customers by working with employers, providers, trainees and other interested parties to successfully implement competency based training.

A key focus of the role will be to maintain existing relationships, and grow learner portfolio numbers and acquire new business. We would expect that the successful applicant uphold a high level of customer service and enthusiasm, whilst striving to achieve customer satisfaction and the overall objectives of the company.  The ability to uphold a relationship with customers and clients involved in the industry is crucial.

This role is ideal for someone who has had previous exposure to the education sector or NZQA requirements, and managed their own portfolio of customers.

 Applicants with a Manufacturing based background with existing connections will be highly considered.

This is a great team and an excellent position for someone who has the following attributes:

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in a Customer or Sales focussed role
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manager own territory
  • Ability to drive and develop robust relationships with customers
  • Ability to identify and adapt to customer needs with creative solutions
  • Results driven with the ability to work in a challenging learning environment
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Understanding of Education or Training industry beneficial (NZQA knowledge).
