Platinum Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for a BAS-focused Senior Accountant to join a Christchurch-based CA firm with an excellent reputation and fantastic office culture, supporting work / life balance, with options for flexibility, and where growth and progression and encouraged.

The primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Working with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial statements.
• Financial planning and advisement.
• KPI analysis within business divisions.
• Maintaining office records.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis.
• Accounting software assistance and advice for clients.
• Tax and compliance advice/services.
• Develop and enhance accounting controls for clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant qualification
• Their CA (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years' experience within a New Zealand CA firm
• Specific experience in Business Advisory services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• Drive and passion to succeed, develop your skills further, and grow your career
