You will be working with a multi-disciplined team in the Christchurch-based office. You will engage with the client to understand their needs, then go on to design and develop a range of programmes, using a range of delivery methods. We are looking for someone with a passion for learning and a mind that is open to novel approaches!

Like-Minded offers advice, tools and practical help to get the very best out of resources that clients have, to create the best learning experience possible. We create a range of learning experiences, and your contribution will be primarily around applying adult learning principles in the design and development of those experiences, so that our clients can benefit from real behavioural change.

Practical and technical knowledge we look for:

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate some of the following criteria, or who demonstrates the potential and desire to learn in these areas:

  • Application of adult learning principles, and relevant learning theory.
  • 2-3 years track record of project work or employment in learning design and, preferably, a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Experience in designing and developing learning in an online environment (essential).
  • An aptitude for shaping learning into effective learning content.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of learning management systems and other authoring tools (essential).
  • Practical experience working with learning management and eLearning authoring tools. (desirable and would give the candidate a definite advantage)
  • Ability to build relationships based on trust and understanding, that benefit the outcomes of the work
  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of Treaty of Waitangi principles
  • Current NZ Driver’s license (advantage but not essential)
  • Valid permit to live and work in NZ (essential)
