Who is looking:
My Client is NZ’s Industry Training Organisation for the growing health and wellbeing sectors.  They support organisations of all sizes to implement workforce training which enables employees to achieve recognised New Zealand qualifications.
 
What will you do?
Working in collaboration with the team’s workplace advisor, and working across the Southland area, your week will be varied and busy.  Meeting with the apprentices, ensuring their assessments and case notes are up-to-date in the learning management system.   Providing them with the support and guidance they need and identifying future opportunity with employers. At times you would also be attending conferences and expos, promoting this organisations training offering
.
Who are we looking for?
Essential will be your ability to build trusting relationships with your stakeholders, as you manage a portfolio of providers and provide pastoral care to the apprentices. Ensuring the apprentices get the guidance and support they need to achieve their learning goals. If you love people and being part of their growth then this is your opportunity to help them shine!
  • Experience mentoring and supporting learners, developing and monitoring learning plans
  • Hold related qualification at L5 or above
  • You understand adult learners and would have mentored or coached adults in the past
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, someone who can relate to all people
  • Results driven, a real problem solver who thinks outside the square
  • Understanding of workplace literacy and ESOL needs
It goes without saying that you would be tech savvy and have a full drivers licence!
