An exciting opportunity has come up to join the International Services team at Scots College. This role would suit an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting the continued growth of this important area of College activity. This is a full-time (approximately 44 weeks per annum), permanent position, commencing in August/September of this year.

Reporting to the Director of International Services, this role will primarily be focused on supporting international students as they adapt to life at the College, coordinating accommodation requirements  and special events for these students while they are in New Zealand, and assisting the Director of International Services.

We currently have more than 50 international students from at least 13 different countries and have plans for future growth. Through our global partner school programme we have reciprocal exchanges with schools in Germany, India, Japan, France, Chile, Australia, USA and China. As an IB world school this international perspective is an important part of our College’s culture.

Scots College is a world-class independent school with a strong Presbyterian heritage. From 2020 Scots will be enrolling girls in its senior school, Years 11-13. It is based in the Eastern suburbs of Wellington, New Zealand, and offers a vibrant learning environment, encouraging excellence in every facet of education.  Scots College is proud of its dedicated staff who work hard to support and encourage the students. To apply for this position, you will ideally have had experience in the international student sector and be used to dealing with young people and helping to organise important aspects of their lives in New Zealand. You will be used to working in a dynamic environment and have the ability to adapt to whatever is necessary to get the job done while keeping the welfare of the student at the forefront.

  • Ideally be the holder of a full driver’s licence
