We are looking for a qualified and experienced person to teach and inspire our Postgraduate students. Our students come from around the world to learn the dynamics of NZ Business and Management. They bring with them a wealth of International knowledge to share; creating an excellent learning environment to be a part of.
About the Role
Reporting to the Programme Leader for Business you will be responsible for teaching at Postgraduate level 8 as well as:
- Developing lesson plans and additional teaching resources,
- Marking assessments and completing pre and post moderation (we will provide training),
- Developing curriculum and assessment tasks
- Supporting Learners with personalised care
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Business and/or Management or a related field and preferably from an English-speaking country
- A suitable teaching or education related qualification such as a Certificate in Adult Teaching, and/or unit standards 4098, 11551 and 11552
- Prior experience in curriculum development, assessment writing and moderation
- A Minimum of three years teaching experience in a tertiary environment in New Zealand
- At least two years management experience
The following experience would be an ADVANTAGE:
- A PhD from an English speaking university
- Active research portfolio and previous experience in supervising research students
