About the role
We are looking for a qualified early childhood teacher to join our wonderful community kindergarten. You will be part of a team responsible for learning and teaching a high quality curriculum that reflects our philosophy, Te Whariki and Tiriti-based practice. Your role would be to contribute to a learning environment which is inviting, engaging and a place where all who enter it feel valued and respected. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with the kindy being open 8.30 -3.30pm during the school term.

Skills and experience
You will be a qualified early childhood teacher. Our current teaching team are senior teachers and we are looking to balance our team so a new graduate would fit well with our aspirations for this role. You will bring your enthusiasm, your energy and your desire to be a positive influence in the lives of the children you teach. You will be an authentic, positive person, with good communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude. Most importantly, you will identify with our philosophy and feel a synergy between the wonderful culture that we have developed at kindy and your own teaching practice. You will share the sense of fun we have at Kindy and be inspired to be with children in a supportive learning environment.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be well utilised, along with your relationship building abilities to build meaningful reciprocal relationships with our children, whanau and our teaching team.
