Kiwidotcom Training and Academic Institute is a NZQA accredited PTE based in Albany Auckland. We are currently looking for the following experienced staff to join our growing business:

1.     Academic Leader

To be successful in this role you will need to be results driven with a demonstrated record of teaching and leadership experience including strong administrative, and development skills. You should have a track record of academic excellence and professionalism in tertiary education.
 

Candidate Requirements:

·    Extensive academic management experience at tertiary level and is results driven

·    A forward-thinking leader who is skilled at developing relationships, both externally and internally

·    A deep understanding of the NZQA framework and the EER system

·    Knowledge and experience of moderation and assessment standards requirements

·    Professional skills for time management and administration management

·    Business management and strong leadership skills

·    Experience from within a PTE environment

·    High level written and oral communication skills

·    Has New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship

The Academic Leader will take the responsibility for

·       Working with the Director of Studies and be responsible for results, performance and outputs of the academic team

·       Programme management and programme development

·       Strategy, Management, Quality Assurance and Risk management

·       Effective networks and productive partnerships with sector groups and stakeholders

·       Student and staff counselling and application of internal policies, etc.
 

  
 

2.     Administrator

 

The position would help ensure that the entire organisation’s administration work and operations are efficiently and effectively managed and operated. You would be required to provide   effective support and assistance to managers and directors as well as student support. You should have minimum two years’ experience in administration and student management system at a PTE environment, be well equipped with the knowledge of Education Code of Practice and student visa requirements, and have a good understanding of international education marketing. As pastoral support person you will play a key role in supporting all student pastoral issues including: student liaison and support, student orientation, maintain overview of student progress, identify student personal and pastoral issues and provide and counselling and positive resolutions.

 

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has the following:

·       Excellent English written and oral communication skills

·       Advanced computing skills especially in Word, Access, Excel and Outlook

·       An understanding of administration needs in tertiary education

·       The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

·       Strong relationship building skills and networking skills

·       The ability to work with multiple stakeholders

·       The ability to work unsupervised as well as be part of a team

·       A tertiary qualification

·       Has New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship

3.     Marketing Officer

The Marketing Officer would be responsible for the marketing strategy, implementation and recruitment of students for all programmes the Institute offers. The Marketing Officer must provide:

  • A high level of customer service to students, staff and external partners
  • Liaise with agents, responding to enquiries, promotional and sales events
  • Design and use social media and technology to market and promote the Institute’s courses and programmes

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

The Marketing Officer should:

  • Have an excellent level of English and a perfect frontline attitude
  • Be confident with computer and communication skills
  • Have relevant experience in sales and/or marketing and student recruitment, preferably within the education sector
  • Be culturally aware and sensitive
  • Have knowledge of the Education Code of Practice and student visa requirements.
  • Have the ability to work unsupervised as well as be part of a team
  • A tertiary qualification
  • Have New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship with reliable transport and a driving licence

 

4.     Receptionist

The candidate must have excellent English, perfect frontline attitude, confident with computer and communication skills, relevant experience in marketing, preferably within the education sector. The position will need to provide a high level of customer service to students, staff and external partners. The ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic and outgoing in order to interact with our international students. This position will include some marketing and administration tasks and duties as well.

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Experience in a frontline position
  • Effective analytical, problem solving and organisational skills

·      Excellent oral and written communication skills, liaison and interpersonal skills with the  ability to develop

  • Effective working relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to multi task with good time management skills
  • Have the ability to maintain a calm, supportive and cheerful disposition
  • Be well organised and have an attention to detail 
  • Have strong empathy and communication skills
  • Have a commitment to values based decision making and problem solving
  • Possess a professional and discrete approach

 

Preferred:

 

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Have experience working with diverse groups including international students
