They now urgently seek a Supply Planning Manager who can contribute to maintaining an efficient and effective Supply Chain across multiple locations. Reporting to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager, your focus will be to ensure stock and cover is available at the 3PL warehouses to meet sales demand and logistics needs while contributing to an efficient, effective and sustainable supply chain.

Key responsibilities for this role will include;

• Maintain a 12 month rolling Supply Plan for all BOM components and Assembly items vs. demand.
• Ensure on-time delivery of items from manufacturing into 3PL warehouses.
• Plan replenishment and manage the purchase activity to meet, cost, time and quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve supply exceptions by expediting purchase orders, re-allocating existing inventory and establishing safety stock parameters.
• Ensure Work Orders are placed within agreed monthly timeframes, whilst, collaborating with contract manufacturers to prioritise schedules as required to meet exceptional delivery requirements. Quarterly review and sharing of work order forecasts with contract manufacturers.
• Proactive management and review of component inventory, through routine stock takes, reconciliations and adjustments with a focus to minimise wastage.
• Perform the assigned NPD gate tasks and ensure stock is available in market for agreed new product and promotional launch timings.
• Ensure vendors meet quality specifications for delivered products and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to problem solve any quality issues that arise through purchasing.
• Maintain a strong and collaborative working relationship with vendors, manufacturers and internal stakeholders.
• NetSuite super user for the Supply Planning process.

Ideally you will possess the following key skills and attributes;

• Proven experience applying supply chain principles including planning, forecasting, procurement, sourcing, inventory management and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including strengths in negotiation, issue management, and influencing.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and numerical skills with strong experience using ERP systems – Netsuite an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Verbal and written skills in Chinese language will be an advantage.
• Great organisation skills with ability to prioritise and multitask in a busy, fast paced environment.
• Excellent time management and a very high level of attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, results driven and positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Logical thinking person with an ability to ‘think out of the box’ to succeed in what can often be challenging situations.
