We require a talented and enthusiastic person to join our Sockburn based operation.
YHI (New Zealand) Ltd is an established distributor of Alloy wheels, Tyres, Batteries, Solar and associated products to a large customer base throughout New Zealand.
We are currently looking for a store person to assist with all inwards and dispatch functions in our busy warehouse.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
• Packing orders for dispatch
• Processing inwards and outwards goods
• Coordinating the unloading of trucks and containers
• Storing goods
• Maintaining accurate records of stock location
• Assisting with regular stock takes
• Operating a forklift (training can be provided)
• Adhering to safe work practices and procedures.
The successful applicant will be hardworking, reliable; customer focused, and have high quality work standards. They will pride themselves on being part of a team that maintains a tidy warehouse, where stock is well managed and kept in good saleable order.
You will need to be physically fit as this is quite a mobile job and some manual lifting will be required.
A full driver's license, forklift license and MPI approved handler certification would be an advantage but is not essential.
