As the successful Analyst - Manager you will work closely with the Executive team, Group Heads of and other key internal and external stakeholders on matters concerning the group’s performance and growth. This is a commercially focused position that requires detailed assessment of M&A and growth opportunities, whilst building and maintaining insights on business performance, processes and operational improvement opportunities.
Your duties can be broken down into four key domains:
- Financial analysis and modelling for the purposes of M&A, reporting and business intelligence,
- Market research and analysis to understand the competitor landscape, trends and emerging opportunities,
- Process, data output and systems improvement, to better understand and monitor business and group performance,
- Relationship and stakeholder management with key internal and external contacts, ensuring open lines of communication and information shared.
About you and your experience:
It is expected you will have spent the past 4-8 years in an analytical role that has required heavy financial analysis and modelling for the purposes of investment and business appraisal. You will be able to demonstrate instances where critical thinking has uncovered alternative perspectives and insights. It is likely these skills have been in built corporate finance, advisory, private equity, investment banking or a comparable position in a corporate. Naturally, your communication skills are second to none, as is your ability to build and maintain professional relationships. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and with leveraging indirect relationships for your function’s outcomes.
