We're currently on the lookout for an experienced, accurate and highly productive Detailer to join the team at our Christchurch Manufacturing Facility.

THE ROLE:

Working closely with our Account Managers, Support Staff and Branch Network, our Christchurch Manufacturing team are looking for an adept and detail-oriented individual whose previous experience demonstrates an ability to effectively prioritise your time and work to deadlines. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring product quality, identifying areas for improvement and developing and implementing plans to lift quality
• Minimising wastage through efficient and effective systems in place
• Production planning to ensure the factory is run to optimum production capacity
• Communicating on a daily basis with the project planner and foreman to discuss workload and participate in the scheduling of the production board; advising with regards to any delays
• Ensuring positive working relationships are maintained with Customers, providing expert advice, assistance as required and an exceptional customer service delivered each time

WHAT YOU NEED:
• A minimum of 3 years detailing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of residential construction, timber grades and basic timber engineering (conversant with NZS3604)
• Proficient with the use of MiTek 20/20 software, (ideally having achieved the 101, 201 and 301 MiTek exams),
• You'll have the right attitude towards learning and providing a service that really sets us apart from the rest
• Sound communication skills are an absolute must as you will be dealing with a number of internal stakeholders and Customers
