We here at Ceres Organics are on the hunt for a Warehouse Assistant to work in our Fresh Produce warehouse in Penrose on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager you'll be joining a fantastic high energy team that is the life blood of the company. On a day to day basis you will be picking and packing fruit and vegetable orders for all types of customers including supermarkets and fresh produce stores, then getting them ready for delivery and courier. We are a close knit team that have a really good work ethic and team spirit.
To be considered for the role you will have
- Previous experience in a similar role - ideally within a produce department of a supermarket
- Be physically strong and healthy as lifting 25-35kg crates
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to do basic mathematics
- Ability to pick things up quickly
- A high degree of accuracy in your work
- Take pride in your attention to detail
- Be a team player and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Candidates will be required to undergo a compulsory pre-employment medical & drug screen, as well as reference checks as part of the interview process

Work hours are 35 per week minimum (flexibility up to 45) Monday 5:30am - 5pm, Tues - Friday 10am - 5pm.
