This is an exciting opportunity to join one of New Zealand's leading wholesale distribution companies. Aber, who are based in Hamilton, are renowned for their range of market-leading brands in specialist home and lifestyle consumer goods categories, distributed through leading New Zealand retailers. These well-known brands include Gasmate, Kiwi Camping, Kent, Regency, Bonaire and Paloma.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your duties will include the picking and packing of a diverse range of products, and assistance with inventory control and inwards goods.
This role demands a self-motivated, practical and physically fit individual with high energy levels and the desire to exceed customer expectations. You must also be computer literate, have high attention to detail and have good organisational skills. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
It is preferred, but not essential, that you have had proven previous experience in a distribution/warehouse environment and hold a full forklift license. You must be conscientious, hardworking, reliable and willing to work overtime if required during busy periods.
Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
