Located in Marlborough, Allan Scott Family Winemakers is one of New Zealand’s iconic wine brands which is 100% privately owned and operated by the Scott family. We operate our own vineyards in both Marlborough and Central Otago, a 3,000 tonne winery, a bottling hall with two lines and company owned warehouses. Innovation and a passion for delivering quality wine products that are affordable by a wide audience is our passion. We currently have a vacancy for a Bottling Line Manager and invite applicants with the following experience and or attributes;
- An experienced ‘hands-on’ bottling line manager or team leader
- A genuine people person and team leader who gets things done
- Has a passion for maintaining consistent quality standards
- Possesses technical aptitude and numeric skills
- Likes to achieve improvement
- Familiar with HACCP and WSMP
- Lean Manufacturing experience
Running our in-house bottling and packaging facilities involves organising daily workflow between logistics, the winery and the packaging hall plus running the bottling lines ‘hands on’ with the operators. A degree of flexibility to work in other parts of the business is required when bottling is not required.
The ideal applicant will have previous experience in bottling and packaging in the drinks industry however consideration also be will be given to applicants who have a minimum of 3 years team leader experience in an automated food processing plant or similar production facility.
This an important role within our supply chain team. It is a permanent full-time salaried position. The number offered will be focused on attracting and retaining the right person.
