About the role;
Our client focuses on delivering high-volume, fully customised packaging product solutions to their prestigious clientele across Australia and New Zealand. This is a technical machine operations position that will challenge you every day. You will be working in a clean and tidy factory environment. In this role will utilise your problem solving skills, will be respected for your ability to exceed production targets and you will be required to be technically and mechanically minded. Your main responsibilities would include, but is not limited to:
- Machine Operations, primarily working on a product gluing production line
- Meeting production targets
- Exceeding quality standards
- Working in a team, with the ability to learn new skills and pitch in when needed
- Assisting with trouble shooting of breakdowns, and potentially undertaking minor repairs on your machine
The ideal candidate would have the following attributes;
- Ideally, you will have gluing production line experience
- Outstanding English abilities - you will be working in a loud area so communication is key
- Mechanically minded and hands on
- Able to working day shit hours
- Proven problem solving skills
- Able to work in high pressure production environment
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
