Operations Team Leader– Airport Oaks
The Company:
This family-owned and operated business was started in 1997 and are currently experiencing significant growth. They design, supply and install material handling and safety products to warehouses across the country. Their customers come from a variety of industries including warehousing and logistics, freight stations, pharmaceutical, fruit/vegetable growers, manufacturing, airport and aircraft. They are now after an Operations Team Leader to take the warehouse and manufacturing departments to the next level.
The Job:
This role encompasses operations management, warehouse management and manufacturing management with a total of 4 staff to oversee. You will bring your knowledge of operational processes to streamline and increase efficiencies across the board. This is a hands-on leadership role that will see you delegate and motivate on a daily basis. You will be focused on the customer at all times owning the post sales delivery to customers and ensuring the company maintains a fast and quality service.
Above all, you will provide efficient and effective management of the daily manufacturing and warehouse activities and team, to ensure customer service targets are met.
About you:
- Proven experience in a warehousing, manufacturing or operations leadership role
- Background in designing, implementing and maintaining effective operational processes
- Ability to motivate your team
- Customer focused with high service standards
- Take responsibility for your work
- Adaptable, organised, helpful and honest
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Physically fit and able
- Class 1 Drivers Licence required
