The position of Quality Assurance Technician has become available based at La Bonne Cuisine Site, East Tamaki. The purpose of this role is to ensure that goods manufactured meet required food safety and quality standards.
We are ideally looking for someone experienced in Science, Food Technology or a related field. The successful candidate will be a team player with a can do attitude, strong communication skills and advanced computer skills. To your advantage would be practical experience in achieving quality, processing or manufacturing improvements in a food or FMCG operation.
What we require from you:
- Maintain the company quality standards, policies and processes.
- Analyze and provide data to relevant stake holders.
- Perform Internal Audits, CCP validations and complaints investigations.
- Be a gatekeeper to the market place by ensuring only safe products are positively released.
- Coordination and participation in continuous improvement projects
- Communication skills & computer literate
What you bring:
- Knowledge and experience in food processing or a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a related role or field.
- Teamwork and a sense of urgency.
- An excellent communicator both verbally and in written format.
