Client Details
Our client is an international and well-known FMCG company. In order to reinforce its team, we are actively looking for a Commercial accountant specialising in cost saving and pricing.
Description
As Commercial Accountant, you will be reporting to the Commercial Controller. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Calculation and delivery of costing / pricing models across company's product portfolio with a keen understanding of pricing and margin management activities
- Preparation and review of various monthly reports / metrics together with the Commercial Controller with a strong emphasis on monthly Volume, Revenue & Margin reporting across a matrix managed Organisation
- Providing regional management with a real time assessment of current month business performance
- Central control point for customer segmentation queries, regional database access, end-user training and ad hoc queries
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required including periodic Executive Meeting analytic and Presentations
- Engaging and partnering with Commercial stakeholders to foster a greater understanding and insight of key business drivers and performance
- Support ad hoc Commercial Finance initiatives and annual strategic plans to include Budgeting and Forecasting and regional pricing strategies
Profile
- You hold at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- CA or CPA qualified
- Minimum 2 years' professional experience in a previous commercial role (must have experience working with Sales / Commercial teams)
- SAP knowledge
- You should be capable of analysing and reporting on large volumes of data in a succinct and user friendly manner
