Your new role
The Finance Advisor supports the Finance team and the management team to identify, monitor and manage financial risks. This is achieved through the provision of expert management accounting knowledge and experience, including financial analysis, budgeting and financial reporting. The Finance Advisor will also arrange or provide guidance and training on the financial systems and required financial practices.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Appropriate Tertiary qualification and membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants New Zealand (or equivalent professional accounting body).
  • Proven level of financial understanding, acumen and experience in financial and management accounting, including a strong analytical focus.
  • A passion to combine the highest levels of professional accounting with the delivery of quality solutions to meet commercial objectives
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in written form to senior staff and to non-financial orientated audiences.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials or similar system.
  • A demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage training for financial processes, policies and procedures.
  • Experience in producing high quality documents and reports in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
