APL Windows Solutions is the parent company of New Zealand’s popular window and door brands Altherm, First and Vantage. We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to take charge of the induction and training of all new and existing Warehouse
personnel.
 
This is a valuable role and requires the highest level of organisation and communication skills. There are opportunities to identify training needs and investigate different learning styles to ensure best outcomes.
 
In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting the Warehouse Manager.  Over time, you will gain the knowledge and skills to deputise for the Warehouse Manager and this position is an important stepping stone to future management appointments.  You will have the proven ability to inspire those around you and effectively lead by your actions. You will be required to consistently promote a healthy, safe and positive culture and behaviours.
 
The successful person will work closely with the People and Performance Team to ensure recruitment needs are met within the timeframes required. They will also be required to liaise closely with Management to plan future staffing and Health & Safety strategies.
 
As a successful candidate, you will have:

• The ability to create positive working relationships with all areas of the business
• Systems and process focused
• Exceptional time management skills
• Proven ability to make decisions under pressure
• Computer literate (Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and
• Outlook)
• Forklift “F” endorsement would be advantageous
