Cardinal Logistics specialises in handling grocery and food related products, consumer goods and pharmaceutical products with a customised warehouse and nationwide haulage and distribution network. Due to business growth we are looking for a highly motivated and capable individual to join our warehouse team.
The Rework Team Leader will be handling the Customer rework projects throughout whilst managing the team of 4-12 reworkers and ensure that any problems and issues within the department are being addressed and resolved promptly. This position is based in our distribution centre in Manukau / Wiri. Responsibilities include:
- Daily planning and scheduling of customer rework projects;
- keep a track of damage control and rework, communicating with the Inventory Manager;
- Deal with the customer on day to day basis as required regarding rework matters;
- Address any customer queries as soon as possible;
- Continuously looking for improved ways of managing or completing the workload/projects;
- Weekly charge out/billing of rework completed (To Accounts)
- Provision of reports or updates on projects when requested;
- Supervision and motivation of team ranging 4-12 employees.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in Rework department ideally gained within an FMCG environment for at least 1 year required and at least 2 years excel experience, Forklift licence with 1 years of experience and food safety awareness. We also require a Certificate or diploma in Supply chain / Logistics / Administration / Business Management or Customer Service. Your ability to demonstrate strong communication skills is critical, as well as an ability to work calmly under pressure whilst maintaining a strong eye for detail. You will also possess excellent decision making and problem-solving skills. You will be a self-starter and be motivated.

We are looking for a person to start immediately, and we'd welcome previous experience with fork hoist, man up.
