About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical Pricing Manager to join their dedicated Pricing team, based in Auckland. Your role will be to compare, monitor and analyse rate activity and products among our major competitors in order to identify revenue enhancing opportunities, whilst achieving maximum utilisation of the fleet.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage revenue with the objective of maximizing fleet utilization, sales revenues, market share, and profit margins
- Review various market /competitor updates within price related items - rates, discounts, ancillary fees etc.
- Manage all Inbound & Domestic Pricing for NZ
- Ensure regular price comparison surveys between major market competitors are completed to maximize utilization & revenue enhancing opportunities
- Provide forecast targets for budgets based on history, trends and analysis
- Review various market segment pricing strategies to ensure we sell at the best possible margin with a focus on retaining our most profitable customers and winning appropriately priced new business.
- Entrench the contribution model in all rate distribution
- Work with the Sales Team to balance volume providers and profit with the ultimate goal to reduce commissions and improve RPD.
About you
- You are driven to deliver quality outcomes for internal and external customers and provide highly professional customer service.
- You have advanced to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- You have excellent organisational and time management skills
- You are highly competent in co-ordinating multiple tasks and can work within tight deadlines
- You have excellent attention to detail
- You are assertive, proactive and innovative with all tasks
- You have sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- You will ideally have a minimum of one year's experience working in pricing, revenue management, yield or, data analysis
- You are an experienced leader who can engage a small team
