The Role
As an Inwards Goods Quality Control Inspector you will be responsible for the accurate and reliable verification of externally supplied raw materials, to ensure it conforms to specification and standards. This is a hands-on role in a warehousing environment involving some heavy lifting and working with precision measuring tools, statistical tables, control charts, technical drawings and inspection procedures as well as leading and/or actively participating in continuous improvement projects to ensure our product is of the best quality. This role works alongside our Day Shift from 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
The Person
We are looking for someone we can develop within our quality organisation. Ideally you will be a recent graduate with a qualification in Engineering, Science or similar and have an understanding of technical drawings and specifications. If you have some years of working experience in a similar field will be a plus.
Your ambitious, proactive approach and keenness to learn will drive your success in this role and support your future career development within our organisation. You will have good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster positive internal customer relationships. Previous experience in a regulated environment and working with ERP systems is preferred.
