Royal Wolf is the industry specialist in the hire, sale and modification of new and refurbished shipping containers. We have branches throughout New Zealand and Australia and provide containerised solutions for use in transport, storage, mining, building and construction industries as well as to the general public. Reporting to the Production Manager at our East Tamaki Customer Service Centre, you will be responsible for the safe supervision of all workshop staff. You will coordinate the movements of Royalwolf stock within the CSC and ensure that quality work and product, cost efficiency and schedule productivity are maintained.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Leading and mentoring the workshop staff, maintaining strong engagement from personnel to ensure that productivity is achieved
- Ensure a safe workplace and that personnel are operating in a safe manner
- Ensure all inbound and outbound containers are surveyed and meet criteria
- Inventory control
- Forklift Operation and maintenance
- Provide accurate reports for your manager and team
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong leadership experience, an ability to motivate and mentor your team
- A zero harm mindset
- Metal trade qualifications/certification with experience working in a production team at a supervisory level
- Strong communication skills
- Forklift Licence, Class 2 F endorsed highly desirable
- Current OSH Fork Hoist Certificate also highly desired
