The opportunity
Our client is a globally owned and operated business who’s strength is built on formulating technology and maximising a global network of manufacturing capabilities. They are widely regarded as a leader in their field and are on the hunt for a Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to manage the end to end supply chain of the business.
  
The role
This role is challenging but will also be rewarding.  It is pivotal to improving and maintaining excellence within the planning and fulfilment of the growing needs of the organisation. 
  
Duties will include:
  

• Leading and developing the Supply Chain team members.
• Managing the end to end supply chain of the business of the site.
• Conducting ongoing reviews of logistic and supply chain partners,
• Liaising with the Commercial team to ensure accurate forecasting of demand.
• Managing the customer service function.
• Co-ordinating and overseeing the management of price and contract negotiations with existing and new suppliers,
• Working closely with the manufacturing team and Production Planner to ensure plant capabilities are maximised

Being able to set clear objectives and follow through with a plan of action drawing on your strong communication skills will be key to your success in the role.
  
You will possess strong communication skills and a relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience.  You will have a strong desire to contribute to the success of the site as a whole.
